Jay wanted his grandma – me! :-)

              Grandma to the rescue

The other day, my daughter called and wanted me to come over and help her with the baby.  When I arrived, baby Jay was wearing his grandma shirt.  He knew what he wanted – his grandma.  And I couldn’t be more happy to be there with him too!

I just love being a grandma, I am truly blessed!

Our New Home!!!

Our new home! September, 2017

We finally did it!  We moved into our new home!  Our dream has always been to live near our children and grandbabies and our dream came true this year. We even have our garden out back that we’ve wanted for forever.  Life is so much fun!  Woo hoo!!

Great Things

I decided I was going to write down, what the best thing was that happens every single day. It’s a good plan to be grateful and I wanted to be sure and remember all the great things about my life.  So….today, the best thing that happened to me was that our house is one step closer on being sold!  We got an offer the other day and we are going to make a counter offer.  I really hope our buyers agree and we can start our new adventure down close to my daughter and son in law and their new baby Jay that’s due in October!  Fingers crossed!

I’m back

Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve written, but I’m back now.  What an exciting year this has been and it’s less than 5 months till Christmas!  Me and the hubby went on a fun filled vacation to Colorado and got to see Max and Sara and grandbaby Scarlett!  Renée also came and told us the wonderful news of her upcoming birth of her first child!  Then her baby gender reveal…it’s a boy and his name is Jay!  He’s due to arrive on October 7th, so exciting! Everyone is doing great!  Then we decided to sell our home and move close to family. We just put it on the market, fingers crossed we sell it soon.  Keep writing those notes to your loved ones – they mean more to them then you’ll ever know.

Wedding Notes

One of the most precious example of notes is when my daughter and her hubby wrote each other notes for their wedding day.  It was actually her husband’s idea which I thought was wonderful! They gave each other their note and they read them privately to themselves moments before they walked down the aisle. The look on my daughter’s face was priceless, she was so happy.   I knew then that she had found the love of her life.
